Mercygrove
Living Communities has been retained for the adaptive reuse of The Mansion at Mercygrove which has been owned and operated by Fathers of Our
Lady of Mercy since 1991.
Located in Le Roy, NY (20 miles west of Rochester) The Mansion is situated on a hill as you enter the 54 acre property. It was built in the
early 1920’s by Orator Francis Woodward, the founder of Jell-O.
The project involves converting The Mansion into a Senior Living/Adult Home in compliance with NYS Department of Health regulations while
preserving the architectural integrity. Plans include 14 private & semi-private rooms with the capacity to serve 22 residents on the second
floor. There will be minimal change to the first floor utilizing the historic dining room, living room and stately library. A cultural
arts room will be created and the majestic chapel will remain as is. Surrounding the building are beautiful grounds and walking trails.
