In the fall of 2006, an RFP was disseminated to select developers and Living Communities was awarded the project.
This community will be developed on 31 acres of land in Benton, New York, a neighboring town to Penn Yan, and will offer
30 patio homes and 48 independent living apartments for lease.
It is anticipated that a variety of services will be available for residents; some included in the monthly rental and some
on an a-la-carte basis.
Currently, the St. Mark’s Villa board has been extremely successful in marketing the proposed project and has 54 deposits
for patio homes and apartments.
In addition, an Advisory Committee has been formed with Keuka College to create a package of offerings for St. Mark’s Villa
residents.
